Before my orange mail service closed down for business until 1500hrs tomorrow, I read an interesting e-mail about bar-codes. If you do not recognise the bar code above, let me enlighten you. It shows the item it is attached to was made in Taiwan (471).As there appears to be some resistance to China produced products, 'Made in China' may not be shown but the bar code gives the 'game' away. Look for 690, 691and 692! These indicate China made!
Here are some bar-codes that relate to countries of origin:
00 - 09 USA & Canada
30 - 37 France
40 -44 Germany
49 Japan
50 UK
