One of my team told me about seeing this piece of artistic grafiiti on a garage door in Ramsgate and has at last produced the photograph!
I suspect it is more a political statement than an artistic effort but seeing the offerings in M&S ( the only TC we are likely to have, unless you believe in miracles), that highly paid Director of a Gallery that hasn't existed for the past 7 years should send her curator (for a gallery that doesn't exist) along to the garage owner and grab this piece of art for posterity.
I, of course, heartily support the message here and it's nice to know that at least one urban Thanetonian appreciates the need to preserve our high quality and versatile farmland. My only thought about improving this excellent example of contemporary street art, is that the artist could have brought in an element about drinking water.
Victoria should look out for more basic examples of uncultured graffiti at Northdown House in December. Mrs Biggles reports that her Bridge partner has heard that TDC intends to close and board up Northdown House by December this year despite the fact that it covers its costs and is an excellent Community Resource. Are 'Mowice', 'Woger' and Cllr Wise about to 'waterbridge' it (see ECR's Thanisaurus) despite the fact that its 'asset disposal' status has been put back until next financial year for the legal position to be ascertained?
